RUSSIAN BIRCH PLYWOOD

Holland Southwest stocks one of the largest inventories of Russian Birch in the United States. Holland’s JIT delivery programs make this quality product available for any industrial or commercial need. Russian Birch is available in 3.0mm - 25mm thicknesses. GRADES

These grades cover the vast majority of the panels imported
into the United States by Holland Southwest International, Inc.
Other grades or variations of these grades may be available
by special order.

B/BB

Single-piece face and back. Face nearly clear of defects with
a light uniform color. Back allows 5 or 6 small, color-matched
patches which are oval in shape and slightly larger than a
quarter. Inner cores are solid birch single-piece veneers.

BB/BB

Single-piece face and back. Face and back allows 5 or 6 small,
color-matched patches and some darker mineral streaks.
Three or four small, tight pine-knots may be present.
Inner cores are solid birch single-piece veneers.

BB/CP

Single-piece face and back. The back face is a downgraded
BB with unlimited patches and sound knots. Inner cores
are solid birch single-piece veneers.

BB/C

Single-piece face and back. Face grade is BB, while the back
face allows unlimited sound knots and repaired splits.
This panel is considered to be sound on one side.

C/C

Patches, open knots, and veneer splits allowed. Veneer lap
and small core voids permitted. Generally not sanded.
